Valverde's answer to question about Vidal replacing Dembele
The Barça coach was not impressed with the line of questioning
Ernesto Valverde was surprised in his press conference at Anoeta when the first questions were about his decision to bring on Arturo Vidal for Ousmane Dembele for the final 15 minutes.
The Barcelona coach didn't hide his disgust at the question, even if his tone remained calm, as usual.
"You're only asking me about that change? Not the others?" he quipped. "There were 15 minutes left and they were catching us on the break. I brought him on to strengthen the midfield. We won the game and that's that."
Valverde continued the press conference as normal, but that question had riled him. Later, asked about criticism, he said: "We win and we're talking about one chang..."
The coach then said that he is not affected by criticism because he doesn't "read it".
