Valverde names strongest squad as Barça go all out for La Liga

The coach has left no one out as Barcelona return to league action vs. Real Sociedad

Ernesto Valverde wants to wrap up the La Liga title as soon as possible. He's made that clear with his squad selection for Saturday's game against Real Sociedad at Camp Nou.

With the Champions League semifinal against Liverpool over a week away, the Barcelona coach has decided to park the rotations for the first of three league games in a week.

Valverde insinuated in Friday's press conference that he wouldn't be making many changes because he feels the clash against the Basque side is an important one.

With a nine point advantage over Atletico Madrid with 18 to play for, Barça could win the league before they face Liverpool if they win three games in a week and Valverde doesn't want to miss that chance.

If they beat La Real and results elsewhere go in Barca's favour, Valverde could re-plan how he tackles the games against Alaves (Tuesday) and Levante (Saturday).

But against La Real it's the same squad that faced Manchester United. With Sameul Umtiti fit again, the only injured players are Rafinha and Thomas Vermaelen. Prince Boateng, Jesion Murillo and Jean Clair Todibo have been left out.

Here's Valverde's squad for the 33rd round of fixtures in La Liga Santander, against Real Sociedad:

Goalkeepers: Ter Stegen & Cillessen

Defenders: Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto & Umtiti

Midfielders: Arturo Vidal, Rakitic, Arthur, Busquets & Aleñá

Forwards: Messi, Luis Suárez, Dembélé, Coutinho & Malcom
