The coach is very happy that Iniesta's deal has been renewed forever
"He's a fundamental player, he brings us a lot," said the coach
Ernesto Valverde appreciates Andres Iniesta. "He's a very important player and if he is comfortable and the club are too with this recognition, well then everybody is happy. He's fundamental for us and brings us a lot.
"He's a unique player, like Messi. Andres is too. For his technical capacity, to know how to take on the game, for having the style of Barcelona, there is something he has that the rest do not."
Iniesta has been battling injury but might be fit to face Atletico on Saturday night. "Yesterday he trained normally and we will see how he is today (Friday)," aded Valverde. "After we'll see if he gets in the squad and if he starts. We hope he will be available."
