Ernesto Valverde took charge of Barça's last training session in the city before the squad travels to Vitoria this evening. The biggest surprise was the absence of Ivan Rakitic, who was given permission by the coach to miss the session. According to RAC1, the midfielder trained alone in the morning session.
Sergio Busquets and Ansu Fati both returned to training after being away with Spain this past week.
The session began with Pique and Valverde in deep conversation before the defender joined in alongside his teammates. Carles Perez, Iñaki Peña and Ansu were the only youth players involved. Abel Ruiz and Riqui Puig were both left to work with the Barça B side.
