The coach got angry when asked if he would contiinue at Barça

Ernesto Valverde has decided to continue on the Barcelona bench despite the Copa del Rey defeat to Valencia.

He stood firm in a press conference in Seville when asked if he had run out of credit. "I have nothing to say," he said, before adding "thanks for condolences" in response to the journalist having expressed his sympathy for the defeat.

Valverde admitted that "now we have bad sensations, we're not going to lie," but that he considered the basic objectives of the season have been met. "I prefer to get to a final and lose it than to lose in the last 16 or the quarters. I would say the same in the Champions League."

On a personal level he's "looking forward to making amends" and added that "when managers lose, we always want to turn things around, no doubt about that."

He also said: "I am fine, I am fine (...) I know losing is tough. That responsibility [I have] is difficult, but you have to accept it."
