The Chilean midfielder said he will leave Barcelona when he doesn't feel important

Arturo Vidal was one of the talking points in Ernesto Valverde's press conference on Saturday as Barcelona prepare to travel to Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

Valverde was asked about the Chilean's interview with TV3 in which he said he would have to consider his future -- in January or at the end of the season -- if he no longer feels important.

"I don't think he was putting pressure on," the Barça coach said. "It will be a personal reflection, I imagine. We have important games before January and he's a player that's fitted in from the start.

"We're happy with him. When he arrived he knew he was coming to a team that had just won the double and would play at given times.  We're still not in the transfer window, when it starts, we will see."

Vidal has played an important role this season. He has scored four goals in the league, including the winner in last weekend's 2-1 win at Leganes.
