Valverde confirms Rafinha has permission to finalise Inter move
The Brazilian will move on loan with an option for the Serie A side to buy
He didn't train on Saturday as he prepares for Italy move
Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde confirmed Rafinha had permission to miss training on Saturday as he closes in on a move to Inter Milan.
As revealed by SPORT, Rafinha will move to the Italian side on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy for 35 million euros plus 3 million in add-ons.
That option to buy will become compulsory if Inter qualify for the Champions League.
"Rafinha won’t train today, in principle because he’s sorting out an important issue," Valverde revealed.
"He’s been injured, we spoke and we agreed that he needed to play regularly and here he wasn’t going to get the minutes he needed. I hope he can find them elsewhere."
However, on Gerard Deulofeu, who's been linked with Napoli, Valverde said nothing was imminent.
"Deulofeu’s not playing at the moment but he could be in the squad against Betis this weekend," the coach said.
