David Costas has been called up from Barça B

Valverde has just 17 first team players available

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has named his 18-man squad for the trip to Valencia this weekend, with the game taking place on Nov. 26 at Mestalla (20.45 horas).

Barça B defender David Costas has been called up with Gerard Pique (banned) and Javier Mascherano (injured) both absent. 

With just 17 first team players available, there's little else to report. Sergi Roberto and Andre Gomes are back training but, along with Mascherano, Arda Turan, Ousmane Dembele and Rafinha, are not fit for the game. 

The squad is: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Nelson Semedo, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Denis Suárez, Andrés Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Leo Messi, Paulinho, Gerard Deulofeu, Paco Alcácer, Jordi Alba, Lucas Digne, Aleix Vidal, Samuel Umtiti, Thomas Vermaelen and David Costas.

Barça will leave for Valencia on Sunday morning, with their flight planned for 11am, with an expected arrival time of 11.55am. 

The will stay at the The Westin Valencia hotel throughout the afternoong before making their way to Mestalla for the top-of-the-table showdown in La Liga.
