Valverde brushes off transfer talk: "Neymar? I'm not involved in that"
The head coach didn't want to be drawn on the state of a transfer for Neymar and instead focus on the players available to him
Barça coach, Ernesto Valverde, didn't want to get involved with the speculation surrounding a move for Neymar.
"I'm focused on my team and the players I have. I'm not involved in those things," he responded when asked to give his thoughts on Bordas and Abidal's trip to Paris this week.
"I'm not thinking about players in other teams. I've always maintained that line of respect. We'll see what happens, I can't say anything else."
He was very clear in his message concerning incomings and outgoings that he was happy with the squad he had. When pressed on transfers he reiterated that he wouldn't talk about players at other clubs.
Valverde would be happy if no one else came in and he stuck with the squad currently at his disposal. "I'm not thinking about that. All that matters is preparing for the first few matches in LaLiga with the players I have."
