The French international has spoken about the possibility of his international teammate joining him at the Camp Nou soon
Samuel Umtiti has given his opinion on reports linking Antoine Griezmann with a switch to FC Barcelona this summer. The defender is a huge fan of the at present Atletico Madrid star and says he would be delighted to welcome him to the Camp Nou should he decide to leave Madrid.
"Would I be happy if they told me Griezmann was joining Barcelona? Yes. Would he fit in here? Yes. Have I spoken about it with him? No, absolutely not," is what Umtiti said in answering three questions of his own. "I know he's very happy in Madrid and that things are going well. Atletico is a team which plays for him. In our career we have to make decisions we later regret.. I don't knnow. He's happy there, although he could play for any side in the world. The most important thing is that he's happy."
