Benfica want him for under 20 million euros but Barca are reluctant to sell for that figure
It’s a reality. Jasper Cillesen wants to leave and become a starter for another European side, becoming one of the best keepers around. Barca know it and other European giants know it too. They are trying to take advantage of the situation to lower their bids for the goalkeeper.
Benfica are the latest side to become interested in the stopper. They want him for under 20 million euros while Barca are hoping to get more than that with some as a variable.
Barcelona believe the keeper has shown enormous quality and potential and is always ready to play, so they don’t want to sell him for cheap.
However knowing Cillessen’s desire to go, the Portuguese side are determined to get him for less. Barca would only go under 20 million if Benfica throw young full-back Tomas Tavares into the deal.
