The German coach was speaking about Rabiot's future after PSG's victory over Caen

Thomas Tuchel wants Rabiot to stay, but the player isn't so sure. That is what the German coach told the media in his press conference following PSG's victory over Caen. "I'm not sure whether he'll stay, it all depends on him."

Rabiot, who confirmed that he's turned down PSG's latest contract offer, scored the second of his side's three goals against Caen. The midfielder, whose contract expires next summer, has his bags packed and is ready to leave Paris this month.

Barça, via the work of Eric Abidal who has already met Al-Khelaifi, will be top of his list ahead of Juventus, Milan and Chelsea. All of the other three have already spent big money and are unlikely to make a move for Rabiot at this time.

Tuchel, however, has made it clear how he feels about the player. "I want him to stay. He's a player with a lot of potential, who came through the academy here and is very important for me."

If Rabiot fails to agree terms he could spend a season on the sidelines as PSG let his contract run out.
