Braga president Antonio Salvador said in a chat with fans of his team that Trincao, who is signing for Barca, will be a big player to lose. He hailed the young winger’s qualities.
“We know that we will lose one of the great players, one I consider the best, who will mark the next decade from here on,” said Antonio Salvador, after being questioned by fans.
Trincao was signed by Barcelona in January for 31 million euros and will stay at the club until the season ends, in theory until June 30, although it could be extended because of the coronavirus.
Trincao, 20, has been in good for this season, having started the last 10 games on the right wing - before it all stopped.
In these last few matches he’s scored six goals in the Portuguese league and in his last three games, one in each.
The operation was sealed with the help of agent Jorge Mendes, who agreed the deal with Barcelona.
