Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker linked with Barcelona transfer

The Catalan club are looking for a right-back but the English international may be too dear

Another name has been linked with Barcelona as they look into signing a right-back -- now and in the summer.

Strengthening the defence, above all at right-back, has become an objective. However, the dilemma at the moment is how to handle the situation with Aleix Vidal injured until the summer.

They could sign a player before the beginning of March or they could wait. They could do both if they sign a player on a short-term deal now.

Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker, 26, is the latest player to be linked. He's a player that has been linked with the club before, as well as other European clubs.

Accoding to the 'Evening Standard', Barcelona have re-opened their interest in him.

However, Walker has just renewed his contract with the London-based club and the club will certainly not let him leave for cheap.

This summer, in fact, both Manchester United and Manchester City were linked with 60 million pound bids for the England international.
