Togetherness: Lionel Messi's message on Instagram
The Barcelona captain posted a picture on social media showing the players are united
Lionel Messi was working harder than ever against Real Sociedad, and he was Barca’s captain more than ever too. The Argentine was seen giving orders on the pitch and geeing up his teammates in a crucial game, which Barcelona won 2-1 to stay in the title race.
Ronald Koeman’s side gained in confidence after some tough days and the squad were united on the pitch.
They came from behind thanks to Jordi Alba and Frenkie de Jong’s strikes and that unity was shown on social media by Messi.
The No 10 posted an image on Instagram of the players hugging after one of the goals, and did not write a caption, allowing the picture to speak for itself.
