Barcelona B could have a role to play at the Philips Stadium. Three players from the Catalan club's second string have been named in the 18-man squad for the Champions League game against PSV Eindhoven.

Goalkeeper Iñaki Peña, left-back Juan Miranda and centre-back Chumi will all be on the bench for the game, hoping to make their debut in Europe, especially the two defenders.

As for Peña, he covers the absence of Jasper Cillessen, who is sidelined for two to three weeks.

Ernesto Valverde also included two other B team players in the travelling party, but neither have made the bench. Goalkeeper Jokin Ezkieta and midfielder Riqui Puig will both watch the game from the stands.

Barça B players have so far had a chance in the Copa del Rey. Chumi, Miranda and Cuenca all debuted in the game against Cultural Leonesa. The second leg on Dec. 5 is likely to see them feature again.

Meanwhile, Carles Aleña keeps his place on the bench. He is, by all intents and purposes now, a first team player.
