There could be yet another twist in Rafinha's future
The Brazilian could sign a new contract at Barcelona and then be loaned out to another LaLiga side before tomorrow's deadline
Rafinha's future appears to be edging towards Real Betis. With the transfer window closing in a few days, this conclusion appears the most likely to arrive, although there might be one late twist in the tail.
According to 'El Desmarque', Rafinha has already left a deposit to rent a flat just outside the city of Sevilla. This appears to indicate that the midfielder knows his immediate future lies elsewhere.
However, in the last few hours there's been talk about another option which could ease Rafinha's move to Betis. The midfielder's contract expires in 2020 but, because of that, he could sign a one-year extension and then be loaned out to Betis.
Rafinha is pushing for a move away and has been in regular contact with former Barça teammates Marc Bartra and Cristian Tello, both of whom are now at Betis.
Benfica have presented an offer for Rafinha but it doesn't seem to be an option which appeals to the Brazilian as he's already set his sights on a move to Quique Setien's side.
