JC Todibo’s future is in the air. While the young defender has been training and improving at Barcelona, the speculation over what will happen to him rumbles on. The former Toulouse player has played just two games for Barca - Huesca, Celta - as well as the Catalan Super Cup against Girona.
The 19 year old needs minutes to grow and one of his representatives, Bruno Satin, said as much on Italian Radio ‘Kiss Kiss’. Satin said: “He stays at Barcelona or goes out on loan where he’s guaranteed at least 30 games.”
Those are his two options. On the interest from Napoli, Satin added: “I’ve spoken to Barca and there’s nothing decided about his future. It’s hard to see him going to Napoli, there he would have no guarantee of playing a lot.
“I spoke with the sporting director Giuntoli, he has the fixation that he will play for them because he’s got a lot of quality. If I said to Ancelotti that Todibo has to play 30 games, it would seem like a lack of respect for him and the club.”
