An overhaul of the medical staff, his own backroom staff and a winger are Xavi's petitions
Xavi Hernandez has known for a while what he wants at Barcelona when he takes over the club. The former midfielder has told the Barça hierarchy exactly what he believes he needs in Doha this week.
According to Onza, Xavi feels an overhaul of the club's medical services is vital. He's transmitted his concerns to the club in that sense and asked them to take the decisions they feel opportune. In this respect, Ricard Pruna, with 25 years of experience at the club, has been chosen to return.
On the bench, Xavi wants the backroom staff he's had in Qatar: his brother Oscar and Sergio Alegre, fitness coach Ivan Torres, physio Carlos Nogeuira and scouts David Prats, Toni Lobo and Sergio Garcia.
The third demand relates to signings. Xavi loves wingers and is happy to see Ousmane Dembele back, but if there's money he would like another wide player. Raheem Sterling is one option but there are others.
