Mendes met with Barcelona president Joan Laporta on Wedneday

They spoke about possible incomings and outgoings at Camp Nou

The meeting between super agent Jorge Mendes and Barcelona's board on Wednesday served many purposes. Mendes represents many players inside and outside of Barça and many names were talked about.

The Gestifute chief proposed three possible signings to improve Barça's squad, two to see if Barça would be interested and one to check in on negotiations that are already underway.

First of all, Mendes named Bernardo Silva and Rafael Leao. The former has had a fantastic season for Manchester City and the latter the same for AC Milan, both winning their domestic leagues. Laporta especially likes Leao.

However, in the case Barça are interested, neither would be cheap. Their market values are around €70 million and Pep Guardiola recently said "it will be difficult" for Barça if they want to sign Silva.

Meanwhile, Milan are ready to sell Leao for the right price but whether any club is able to hit that is a different matter.

Finally, Mendes spoke about Ruben Neves as well. Xavi is interested in the Wolves midfielder and the club will see how much the Premier League side want for him, but it won't be easy.

Other named discussed included Nico González, Adama Traoré, Lenglet, Trincao, Di María and Carlos Soler.
