Neymar has celebrated his 26th birthday this week with his friends and family, but without the company of his former Barcelona teammates. The Brazilian has invited them to one of the three parties he held in Paris, but the derby against Espanyol impeded them going.
Despite not being able to attend the party, and with a day off on Tuesday, a number of Barcelona were invited to the third party, a much more intimate one. It was planned for those closes to him to attend. However, at the last minute, the flight was cancelled. At 14.30h on Monday, the day of Neymar's birthday, the flight to Paris was cancelled because of the weather. Barça's players were left on the ground. Leo Baptistao had better luck. He also played in the derby but his flight to visit his compatriot was not cancelled.
Remember that Neymar's close friend with Philippe Coutinho and every time he has returned to Catalonia he has met up with, above all, played like Leo Messi, Luis Suárez, Gerard Piqué and Ivan Rakitic.
Meanwhile, Barcelona did post a message on social media to congratulate Neymar on his birthday, despite the conflict over his renewal bonus.
