The Portuguese defender trained alone on Thursday and has been tested for corona

Barcelona trained on Thursday without Nelson Semedo, who was isolated because he broke Covid-19 protocol. The defender went to a party with friends with over 20 people and has been tested for coronavirus. If it comes back negative he can return to the group on Friday and perhaps play against Mallorca if Quique Setien sees fit.

Barcelona are applying La Liga's protocol. He trained alone, but with all players tested two days before a game, he could instantly return if he doesn't have the virus. All players, including him, will have their temperature taken on the day of the game before they enter Son Moix.

If he is positive he must quarantine and stay there until he is negative again.

Liga president Javier Tebas threatened a possible return to the idea of squads being forced to quarantine in camps if players keep breaching protocol.

"What we are thinking is that if players keep doing this we'll have to consider having obligatory concentrations," said Tebas, as quoted by dpa.

"We wanted to do that but over the last few weeks we saw the clubs were (obeying) the protocols, but if we start to see three or four players at each club disobeying these rules then we'll have no other remedy than to impose concentrations.

"We hope we don't have to but if people keep going to barbecues and parties we might have to. La Liga has shown a lot of faith in players by not enforcing concentrations so, please, return that confidence, and don't break the rules as that harms La Liga and people's health in general."
