Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has to explain in his press conference previewing his side's game against Levante why Gerard Deulofeu has been left out once again.
As well as Deulofeu, Rafinha was also left out of the 18-man squad -- as was Aleix Vidal -- and Valverde was asked whether it meant their futures lie elsewhere.
"The situation with Rafinha and Deulofeu is the same as the rest, but a coach can only pick 18 players," he said. "If I could pick 20, maybe they would be in.
"They're different cases because Rafinha's only just come back from a long-term injurt, as for Deulofeu he had his chances and now others are getting theirs."
Asked about a possible loan move for Deulofeu, he said: “If he asks to leave we'll evaluate things, but that’s not happened yet.
“He is a player we count on, he's played in the past... It’s about the coach having to make decisions. What he has to do is work hard to change his situation and get [back] in the squad.”
Upon the insistence of the journalists, he added: "Deulofeu's situation isn't down to him, he's not done anything wrong. It's just he has a certain profile and at the moment I'm looking for players with a different profile."
