The prosecution asks judge to process Neymar, Rosell, Barcelona and Santos

There is no relief from the Neymar case. The prosecution, on behalf of DIS, have asked the judge to press the charges

The fraud case involving Neymar rages on. Prosecutors have asked for the judge to try Neymar, his father, former Barcelona president Sandro Rosell and Santos for corruption in the deal that took him to Spain from Brazil.

National Court judge Jose de la Mata threw out the case in July over a lack of evidence but in September that decision was overturned after an appeal by the Spanish prosecutors.

They argued the player and his father were aware of potentially fraudulent dealings between Barcelona and Santos, which would have harmed a Brazilian investment company DIS who owned 40 per cent of Neymar’s right at the time.
