Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong is one of the players Barcelona could sell to make money to invest elsewhere this summer.
De Jong, 25, has a big market across Europe and, per the transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, as revealed by SPORT weeks ago, Manchester United opened negotiations with Barça with the initial price set at €85 million.
Despite that, Barça are still awaiting the first offer from the Premier League side, who will not be in the Champions League next season.
De Jong has reiterated this week that he does not want to leave Barça and that his preference is to stay at Camp Nou, in part because he wants to play in the Champions League.
