The president of Pirelli wants to take Messi from Barcelona to Inter
Leo Messi's contract with Barça expires in 2018 and he's yet to sign a new deal with the club
Inter Milan are talking about signing Barcelona star Lionel Messi, The president of the club sponsor Pirelli, Marco Tronchetti, has proposed the move as he looks to restore the glory days at the Italian club.
According to newspaper 'Il Corriere dello Sport', Inter want to take advantage of the situation surrounding Messi's contract renewal. He's yet to extend his deal which runs until 2018 and it's leading to plenty of interest and rumours.
Signing Messi is the dream, Tronchetti has admitted, telling the above paper that "Messi is the dream -- and sometimes dreams can come true. I always look at life with confidence and know that dreams can become a reality."
The reports suggest Chinese company Suning, who own 70 percent of Inter, would lead the fight for the Argentine and stump an important amount of money.
