The plan for Ousmane Dembele's 're-signing' presentation
The French winger is staying at the club after all, following a lot of ups and downs in the deal
Ousmane Dembele will be presented as a new Barcelona player at 12pm midday on Thursday. The French winger and his agents, after months of comings and goings, have finally accepted the club’s last proposal. After his deal ended on June 30, Dembele was without a club, but will now pen a new contract with Barcelona until June 2024.
After doing that, he will take part in the typical photo session that new signings have, while under the watchful eyes of president Joan Laporta. It will be a similar event to those of new signings Kessie and Christensen.
After that, the procedure changes. Instead of a press conference, the player will speak to the club’s internal media, where he will give a brief evaluation of his ‘re-signing’ for Barça.
