'The Observer', Douglas, Neymar and an inopportune photograph

The Brazilian was back at Camp Nou on Wednesday and caught up with some familiar faces

Brazilian defender Douglas was back at Camp Nou on Wednesday, playing against Barcelona, the club he's on loan from at Sporting Gijon.

The match didn't go as he would have liked, but he did take advantage of the occasion to greet some of his friends.

Douglas chatted with his team-mates on the pitch both before and after the game, which ended 6-1 in Barça's favour.

After, he made his way to the home side's dressing room to catch up with old friends and colleagues, above all his compatrior Neymar.

However, he did so at an inopportune moment.

Douglas was reunited with his team-mates shortly after Luis Enrique announced to his players that he would not continue as the club's manager next season.

Although that didn't seem to affect Douglas or Neymar too much as they posed for a photo which the Barça star captioned "my brother".

Before, having been substituted, Douglas was also seen alongside "The Observer' Francesc Satorra, who's worked at the Catalan club for years and features in the famous photo of Tito Vilanova being poked in the eye by Jose Mourinho.
