Turan's joined the Turkish club on a two-and-a-half-year loan deal

Barça reserve the right to sell him in the coming transfer windows

Arda Turan was officially presented as a Medipol Basaksehir on Monday in Istanbul. The club's president Goksel Gumusdag was also present and he explained the deal in more detail.

The Barcelona midfielder has joined Basaksehir on loan for the rest of the campaign and two more seasons. He will earn two million euros plus add-ons in what remains of the season, while next season he will be paid four million euros plus add-ons, according to Gumusdag.

Gumusdag says that Barça, who freed up part of their wage bill by letting Turan leave, are allowed to sell the player to any other club during any FIFA transfer window over the next two-and-a-half-years.

If Turan is sold by Barcelona in the summer, Basaksehir will receive 20 percent of the operation. If he's sold the following season, the Turkish club will receive 25 percent of the fee.

"In other words, we are 25 percent co-owners of Arda Turan without paying anything to Barcelona," explained the president, who also commented that the club must pay 300,000 euros to the Catalan club if they win the Turkish league.
