The Premier League club have been keen on the forward for a while
Premier League side Southampton have shown an interest in signing Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer, according to British newspaper The Mirror.
Alcacer, who doesn't play regularly for Ernesto Valverde's team, is one of a number of strikers the English side are monitoring.
However, any potential deal would hang on Southampton staying in the Premier League this season -- they will only make a move for Alcacer if Mark Hughes keeps them up.
It's been a tough season for Southampton, who despite being in the FA Cup semifinal are currently in the relegation zone.
