The menu at Leo Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo's wedding
Messi's guests had a feast in Rosario on Friday night
The 260 invitees would not have left the bash hungry
Leo Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo opted for a menu with Argentine roots and international touches as they tied the knot in their hometown of Rosario on Friday.
The banquet opened with a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, homemade marinades, salads and typical breads among which there was no shortage of ham and traditional, freshly made chips.
Then the 260 guests of the FC Barcelona forward and his new wife Antonela Roccuzzo thad two hot stations to choose from. The first, called 'Different Destinations', included sorrentines of various flavors, chicken chop suey, mini meat and beef empanadas and beef steak.
The second one, called 'Argentina', was a station featuring typical Argentine dishes: sweetbread casserole, smoked truffled meats, provencal kidneys, roasted chinchulines, sausages and chorizo.
In addition, there was a third station with sushi, preceding the desserts. As for the wines, Leo and Antonela resorted to some of the best wines from their country, from the winery 'Famiglia Bianchi'.
