The exchange 'Barca offered Atletico for Yannick Carrasco'

Yannick Carrasco seems to be getting back to his best in recent weeks with Atlético. With the Madrid side on fire in La Liga, the Belgian is putting in some great performances. Xavi likes him and in the Memphis Depay transfer this past winter, there was already talk of his incorporation at Barca.

In fact, FC Barcelona agreed with Atleti a possible transfer of Carrasco this summer that, now, as Pablo Pinto of DAZN says, they are trying to turn into an exchange. 

According to the report, the Camp Nou club have proposed to Atletico to exchange the former Manchester City player for the winger without any money involved. The Blaugrana have already communicated to Atletico that they cannot pay the fee for the Belgian. 

Carrasco's ability to take on his opponents would be of interest to the Blaugrana coach. The 1x1 is one of his main strengths and, acting on the left flank, he is a piece that Xavi needs in his set-up.

At FC Barcelona they are still looking for formulas to create a squad of "guarantees" for the next campaign, in which Leo Messi is expected to be the main signing of the summer.
