Barça and Sevilla have agreed to play a one-off match on the 15th August, but there's a disagreement over where it will take place

The negotiations surrounding the organisation of the Spanish SuperCup are moving towards a positive solution. This afternoon Barcelona, Sevilla and the RFEF will have a meeting in Madrid to finalise all the details.

At the moment, Sevilla and Barça are in agreement that it should be a one-off match and that it'll take place on the 15th August. However the biggest obstacle to getting everything over the line, and it's quite a major one, is where the match will take place. Sevilla insist it should take place in their home stadium, the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, because they've already sold tickets to their fan for the match and don't want to give up the extra revenue they'd earn from playing the match there.

Barcelona, meanwhile, are also reluctant to give up the €4m they'd likely earn from the match. The current proposal from Barça is that the final is played at a neutral ground due to how difficult it would be to convince Sevilla to play it at the Camp Nou.
