Barcelona are set to make one last transfer before the window closes on Friday. It isn't, however, a transfer which will impact the first team picture but rather at Barça B. In Uruguay they believe Ronald Araujo will sign for the Spanish side and could be announced in the next few hours.
Araujo will arrive from Boston River (Montevideo) and cost around €5m. He's 19 years old and will help give Garcia Pimienta's side a boost as they look to gain promotion this season.
The centre back is also the captain of Uruguay's U20 side. Araujo is 188cm tall so will offer an aerial threat, much in the same manner that fellow countrymen Godin and Gimenez do.
Araujo came through the ranks at Huracán de Rivera, played for Rentistas and signed for Boston River in 2017.
