Barcelona will face Nastic in a friendly on Saturday the 12th of September
Ronald Koeman's official debut in the dugout as Barça now has a date and time. The first preseason friendly will take place on Saturday the 12th of September. At 19:00 local time, they'll face Nastic de Tarragona at Barça B's Estadi Johan Cruyff stadium.
This will provide fans with the first opportunity to see new signings Pedri and Trincao in action. Miralem Pjanic might not be risked as he's been self-isolating ever since testing positive for COVID-19 on the 23rd of August.
It's unknown whether any other new signings could arrive before the match. Georginio Wijnaldum is being linked with a switch to Barça to replace Ivan Rakitic, who has joined Sevilla. Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal are all expected to miss the contest.
LaLiga kicks off in the same week
Riqui Puig and Ansu Fati, now officially members of the senior squad, will be included in the squad list.
Barça's preseason debut coincides with LaLiga's start date. As was already known, the club will miss the first two gameweeks due to their participation in the Champions League.
