The Portuguese full back has earned Valverde's confidence to become first choice this season
Nelson Semedo has won over Ernesto Valverde this season. The Portuguese full back has improved to the point he is now the first choice option at right back for FC Barcelona. In fact, his improvement has led to him possessing a stat very few can claim to have.
According to Pedro Martin, Semedo has played the most games in this season's LaLiga who is yet to experience defeat. He's been involved in 23 matches and picked up 17 victories and six draws.
In fact, the Portuguese defender has only suffered one defeat in his 47 LaLiga contests. He went 22 matches unbeaten before his first defeat and now sits on another 23-match run. That one loss came against Levante last season. It was a crazy contest which ended 5-4 to the Valencian side.
