December is marked by clashes with the two big Madrid sides

Barcelona end November as La Liga leaders and qualified first in their Champions League group. They take on December with more confidence in their results than in their play. The last month of the year leaves six games to dispute, a difficult calendar with two of those fixtures marked in red.

On Sunday, December 1, they face Atletico Madrid at the Wanda. A very complicated clash against Diego Simeone's side.

Then come two 'easier' games, against Mallorca at Camp Nou and then Inter Milan at the San Siro, which although featuring hard opponents who want to win, means little to Barca, already guaranteed top spot.

Then Barcelona must face Real Sociedad in San Sebastian, a very ticky game. That is followed by the Clasico on December 18, with Real Madrid coming to town, over a month after the game was postponed.

Finally they face Alaves at home, with Asier Garitano's side a slightly easier team to play on paper, but Joselu and Lucas Perez have been red hot in attack for the visitors.
