The big decision Valverde must make tonight: Dembele or Ansu Fati?

All signs suggest the coach will opt for Dembele to partner Leo Messi and Antoine Griezmann in attack

FC Barcelona return to action in the Champions League this afternoon (18:55 local time) when they face Slavia Prague at the Camp Nou. Luis Suarez is the only major name missing through injury and there's hope he could be back at the weekend against Celta Vigo.

Everything suggests Valverde will move Antoine Griezmann into the centre and bring in Ousmane Dembele on the right. If the French winger isn't fully fit to start then the coach could chose to go with previous options such as Ansu Fati or Carles Perez.

BUSQUETS AND ALBA RETURN

Whilst there are options available to Valverde in other positions, the coach doesn't tend to experiment all that much when it comes to Europe. And at home, Barça's record is perfect: six wins in six matches.

Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, who were both substitutes against Levante (3-1), will return to the XI. Marc-Andre ter Stegen is certain to be in goal with Semedo and Alba as the full backs. Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet are the preferred partnership in defence too. Samuel Umtiti did return to action recently and is available should Valverde wish to change things slightly at the back.

BUSquets will sit deeper, allowing de jong more freedom

Busquets will return to his more comfortable position of sitting in front of the defence. Frenkie de Jong will be given license to roam further forward and the final spot is between Sergi Roberto and Arturo Vidal.

Ivan Rakitic and Carles Aleña are both in need of playing time but both are expected to be on the bench. Arthur Melo was dropped from the squad either to give him a rest or due to his poor performance against Levante.
