The goalkeeper set up Luis Suarez with a sublime pass in Madrid

Marc-Andre ter Stegen keeps on making his case to be remembered as Barcelona's best ever goalkeeper. The German starred against Getafe on Saturday -- and not just with his saves. He also set up the opening goal for Luis Suarez, an assist which sees him make history, according to Opta.

Opta says he's the first Barca goalkeeper to provide an assist in La Liga in the 21st century, calling him a "pioneer".

In a first half in which Ernesto Valverde's side struggled to play their best football, Ter Stegen appeared, once again, as the hero. And this time not between the posts -- although he had just made a fine save from Angel. He swept up a long ball over the top, racing out of his box, and then picked out a brilliant pass for Suarez, who lobbed David Soria to make it 1-0.

In full debate about who should be Germany's goalkeeper -- Manuel Neuer or Ter Stegen -- the Barça stopper is doing his talking on the pitch and showing that he deserves to be No.1 for Germany, Barcelona and any other team in the world.
