The two clubs are looking at a deal worth around 75 million euros

Frenkie de Jong's future is close to being resolved but the speculation about where he will end up continues. 

Catalunya Radio revealed that a Barcelona delegation traveled to Amsterdam on Thursday, headed by Josep Maria Bartomeu, where they upped their offer. 

However, Dutch outlet the Telegraaf reported on Saturday that PSG met with Ajax on Friday, as well as the player's agents, and a deal worth 75 million euros is close. 

The meeting took place the day after Barça met with De Jong's agents, with PSG committing to the price tag Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars wants.

The meeting took place in the Amstel Hotel and took several hours, with negotiations spanning the whole day. 

Earlier, Thomas Tuchel had reportedly phoned De Jong to transmit his total confidence in him and explain the key role he would play at PSG.
