The LaLiga president spoke about the Argentina's possible return to Catalonia

Javier Tebas, the president of LaLiga, referred to the possible return of Lionel Messi to Barcelona in the news conference which followed Wednesday's Extraordinary Assembly held in Madrid.

Responding to the last question he was asked, Tebas explained that " as of today they can't register Messi, but hopefully they will manage it. There is still a lot of time left. We are awaiting a viability plan, they can sell players."

He continued: "Right now, it is difficult. Hopefully, as a league, Barça will make the necessary moves for Messi to come, but we will not change any rules so that they can sign Messi. I would like Messi to play in this competition."

Joan Laporta, the Blaugrana president, was present at LaLiga's Extraordinary Assembly, where he gave explanations to the rest of the presidents of the first and second division clubs about the 'Negreira case,' insisting that Barça never bought referees.
