TeamTalk: Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier linked with Barcelona
The England international had a good game against Spain last week
Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier is one of the players on Barcelona's shortlist of possible signings, according to TeamTalk.
The initial reports have been picked up by various other British media. Dier, 24, came through the academy at Sporting Lisbon before joining Spurs, where, in 2016, he signed new terms until 2021.
Last season saw him linked with Manchester United, with Jose Mourinho said to be a big fan of his qualities.
Now it's Barça who have been linked with him, with scouts supposedly casting an eye over the England international, who plays as a defensive midfielder and can also play in defence.
However, it won't be easy to land Dier. Spurs don't like to sell, as they have shown in the past. Anyone they do sell goes for top dollar -- which will also be the case with Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
