The swap deals Barça and Inter are looking to negotiate in summer

Barcelona will have to come up with creative solutions to reinforce the team this summer. If nothing changes (they are working on it intensively), their capacity to maneuver will be limited and that is why the sporting direction is sounding out alternatives with which to satisfy the needs that Xavi has to make the squad more competitive.

Joan Laporta, president of Barça, together with the director of the Football Department, Mateu Alemany, was previously in Milan laying the foundations of a possible negotiation between the Catalan club and Inter with which to start working. It was on the occasion of the Porto-Inter Champions League match, a month ago. From then on, new meetings were arranged.

The more recent, according to 'Jijantes', took place in Barcelona this week when Alemany received the sporting director of the Nerazzurro, Piero Ausilio, and Edoardo Crnjar, an Italian agent who has a great relationship with the Blaugrana because he represents Ronald Araujo. The two clubs maintain a good relationship and are studying, due to the economic problems that both are suffering, formulas with which they can reinforce themselves in the summer.

One of the possibilities that is on the table is the exchange of players. Inter, in this sense, have offered Barça Marcelo Brozovic, a Croatian international who was already in the Blaugrana's orbit last summer, when they ended up opting for the signing of Franck Kessie, who arrived as a free agent from AC Milan. In fact, the Ivorian is one of the players that Inter are interested in, although everything is still to be done and there is nothing firm.

Barça and Inter already agreed during the summer market, as it was closing, a deal for Jordi Alba to move to Milan, an operation mounted behind the player's back, who did not even receive any proposal. The good form that Samuel Umtiti is offering in Serie A defending the Lecce shirt also makes him an attractive option for the Nerazzurri. Everything is still to be done and everything is possible.
