Suso attacks Pedri over Alba penalty complaint
The Sevilla man called Barcelona's teenage midfielder a crybaby
The Copa del Rey semi-finals are two legged and after 90 minutes, Sevilla are 2-0 up on Barcelona.
There was a moment in the game where Barca should have been awarded a penalty, when Jordi Alba was fouled in the box. However Mateu Lahoz gave a free kick and VAR did not correct him for some reason.
After the game Pedri spoke out and said he thought it was a penalty. “I think there’s a penalty, I don’t know if he started to pull Alba outside or inside the box, but VAR’ is there to decide.”
El Chiringuito TV posted the quote on their twitter account.
Sevilla player Suso took umbrage. He quoted the tweet with one of his own, and posted a string of crying emojis, effectively calling Pedri a crybaby.
