Surprise in Barcelona's squad list to face Granada on Sunday night
The FC Barcelona coach has decided to rest Gerard Pique to keep him fresh for the challenges ahead
Lionel Messi is suspended and Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal are injured so also not included
Luis Enrique has published his squad list for Barcelona’s trip to Granada on Sunday night in La Liga, game 29 of the campaign.
The main change is Lionel Messi’s removal from the list, with the star suspended for accumulation of yellow cards.
Messi will return against Sevilla on Wednesday night.
Gerard Pique was left out so he can rest after playing two matches for Spain, with Luis Enrique citing the tough calendar ahead as the reason he’s allowing the star not to turn up.
Meanwhile Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal are injured and also not included.
