Koeman's side were too good for their German opposition on Saturday evening

Barcelona beat Stuttgart 3-0 on Saturday at the Mercedes Benz Arena to make it three wins in three in preseason.

Memphis Depay, Yusuf Demis and Riqui Puig were on target as Ronald Koeman's side proved too strong for the Bundesliga side.

There were also first appearances of preseason Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Ronald Araujo as players continue to return from a summer of international tournaments.

Koeman opted for Memphis and Antoine Griezmann in attack against Stuttgart and the two combined well.

Memphis had a penalty shout dismissed early on before opening the scoring after 21 minutes when he controlled a Frenkie de Jong pass and slotted home.

The Dutch forward then helped create Demir's first Barça goal, sliding in Griezmann who squared for the Austrian.

Barca completely dominated the first half, with young midfielders Nico Gonzalez and Gavi impressing, but Stuttgart did come into the game after the break.

However, the home side never really troubled Neto, with Luca Bazzoli's long ranger which fizzed wide the closest they came.

Riqui Puig then added the third minutes after coming off the bench, firing in off the post after another Griezmann assist.

Rey Manaj, another substitute, almost added a fourth but he was denied by goalkeeper Fabian Bredlow.
