Striker Luuk de Jong's value has shot up for Sevilla and Monchi
The Dutchman's form could make him an interesting option for several clubs this summer
In January, he had one foot out of Barcelona. Luuk de Jong was linked with Cadiz, who had reached an agreement with Barcelona and Sevilla to take the Dutch forward on loan until the summer. But De Jong decided to wait and under Xavi's orders he has become Barça's most efficient striker.
Xavi has always highlighted that De Jong is a great professional and an example for his teammates, something that has translated into form and goals on the pitch for the team.
They're watching in Seville. De Jong will return to the Sanchez Pizjuan in June, when his contract ends, and Sevilla's objective, keeping in mind the attackers they have in Lopetegui's squad, is to find him a new home this summer.
Barça have no option to buy, and will focus their attempts on signing Erling Haaland this summer, but there are likely to be offers for the ex-PSV striker given his performances.
