The Inter president ruled out the idea of the forward leaving
Steven Zhang, Inter Milan's president, ruled out the possibility of Lautaro Martinez leaving. The Chinese chief wants Antonio Conte's team to keep their best players.
Barcelona are interested in the centre-forward as they look for a long term Luis Suarez replacement.
Zhang spoke to the Financial Times.
"At Inter, one of the biggest clubs in the world, you should push yourself to the max to win," he said. "We don't want to sell our talented players and we want to attract the best talent in the world."
He praised the Suning Group's takeover.
"Since Suning bought Inter, the club has experienced a great transformation. In the first place, on the pitch. Secondly, our commercial value and marketing. You can see from our digital platforms, the numbers are double or treble what they were a couple of years ago."
