On Monday it’s 100 days since Xavi took charge of Barcelona. Since then he has taken charge of 16 games with seven wins, five draws and four defeats. 25 goals scored, 22 against.

Xavi was announced on November 6, taking over from interim coach Sergi Barjuan, who stood in after Ronald Koeman was axed.

Barcelona had to pay Al-Sadd a release clause. He was presented on Nov 8, with 9,442 fans coming to see him at Camp Nou.

It started well, a 1-0 win over Espanyol with a penalty netted by Memphis. Since then Barcelona have won 22 points from 33 available in La Liga, with just one defeat. They were ninth and climbed up to fourth, getting into the CHampions League zone for the first time since the third week of the season.

However they were knocked out of the Champions League, Spanish Super Cup and Copa del Rey.

Xavi has used 33 players, with Nico featuring in the most games. Eight players have featured in close to all games possible. Ter Stegen (15 partidos), Busquets (15), Araujo (15), Piqué (15), Jordi Alba (14), Frenkie de Jong (15), Gavi (13) and Nico (16).

Luuk de Jong has scored the most goals, four, with almost all of them decisive. Memphis, Nico, Frenkie, Pedri, Gavi, Araujo and Jutgla all have two each under Xavi. Alves has the most assists, with three in five games.
