Barça forward Ansu has been called up for U21 duty in the current international break
Ansu Fati was called up for Spain U21 duty on Friday after Barcelona teammate Carles Perez was forced to withdraw with a muscle problem.
However, Spain coach Robert Moreno says he could be with the senior team next summer if they qualify for the European Championships.
"I like that Ansu's with the U21s," Moreno said. "He's a player we can't ignore and that has broken barriers. I hope he can help the U21s in the next game.
"All good players are welcome with the senior team and Ansu' showing a lot of things. He was on the pre-list this team so, of course, it's possible that he has a presence at Euro 2020. We will assess it when the moment comes."
